Meet the authors of color
Local writers group hosts free program in Miami Gardens Saturday
The Ralph Hogges and Benjamin Cowins Writers Group of South Florida will host Speak, Sign & Sell a gathering and celebration of authors of color. The free program will be 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. July 15 at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex, 3000 NW 199 St., in Miami Gardens.
Several authors will speak.
The Ralph Hogges and Benjamin Cowins Writers Group of South Florida is an organization for beginning and established writers. At monthly meetings, writers gather to engage and discuss their literary works. There is help with editing and refining literary works as well as assistance with identifying publishers and getting manuscripts published. The group assists writers with marketing their books and organizes and hosts an annual book festival and writers conference.
