Dr. Rose Mary Stiffin was raised and educated in Indianola, Mississippi — the Delta hometown of the blues legend BB King. She has written several short stories and has been published in the Imagine literary magazine as well as the Algonquin Quarterly. She is known as a left-handed writer, and ‘Walk in Bethel’ is her first novel.
